Overview
The Chinese Consulate General in Kolkata covers eastern and northeastern India — West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh. Kolkata has historical Chinese community ties — the Chinatown in Tiretta Bazar is one of the oldest in South Asia.
