Overview
The Consulate General of Ireland in Mumbai opened in 2019 to reflect the growing links between Ireland and western India, and operates from Ireland House in the TCG Financial Centre at the Bandra Kurla Complex. Its consular jurisdiction covers Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa together with the union territories of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. For travellers and applicants across western India it is the Irish visa and consular contact, working alongside the Embassy in New Delhi.

Residents of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and the neighbouring union territories apply for Irish visas through the Mumbai consulate, using Ireland's online application system and the appointed visa-application centre. The consulate also supports Irish citizens in western India with passports and emergencies. It is open to the public by appointment only.
