Overview
The Embassy of the Principality of Monaco in Berlin is Monaco's principal diplomatic mission in Germany, located on Klingelhöferstraße in the Tiergarten diplomatic quarter. Ambassador Lorenzo Livio Maria Ravano has headed the mission since June 2022. Monaco — the sovereign city-state on the French Riviera, the world's second-smallest country at 2.02 km² and its most densely populated — is renowned for the Monte Carlo Casino, the Monaco Grand Prix, its yacht-filled harbour, and a tax regime that attracts high-net-worth individuals globally. The Berlin embassy manages diplomatic and consular affairs for Monegasque nationals across Germany and is supported by six honorary consulates in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Potsdam, and Stuttgart providing regional coverage across all German federal states.
Service Area
The embassy covers the entire Federal Republic of Germany. Six honorary consulates provide regional access: Düsseldorf (North Rhine-Westphalia), Frankfurt (Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland), Hamburg (Hamburg, Bremen, Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein), Munich (Bavaria, Saxony), Potsdam (Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia), Stuttgart (Baden-Württemberg).
