Special Notes
The Jeju visa-free regime applies only to direct arrivals to Jeju — transiting the mainland en route generally requires a visa or a specific transit exemption. Group-tour visa-free windows are dated policies that have opened and closed; never book on a remembered rule. Visa jurisdiction in China is strictly provincial: applying at the wrong Korean post is a common avoidable rejection, so match your hukou or residence province to the right consulate before lodging.
