The Royal Thai Embassy in Buenos Aires (Real Embajada de Tailandia) is Thailand's diplomatic mission to Argentina, located on Vuelta de Obligado in the Belgrano district. The embassy also covers Paraguay and Uruguay. The embassy provides visa processing, document legalisation, divorce registration services, vaccination requirement guidance, and TDAC assistance. Thailand maintains a Thai Trade Centre and an honorary consulate in the region.

Visa Services

Argentine citizens enjoy 90-day visa-free entry to Thailand with an ordinary passport — one of the most generous visa exemption agreements Thailand maintains worldwide. Brazilian, Chilean, and Peruvian citizens also receive 90 days. The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is mandatory since May 2025. For longer stays or work/study purposes, visa applications must be submitted online via thaievisa.go.th. E-Visa and Visa on Arrival are also available depending on nationality.
