Not for stays up to 60 days — the exemption covers tourism and business visits. The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is mandatory for everyone, registered online before travel. Longer stays run exclusively through the e-Visa portal thaievisa.go.th, with the applicant physically present in Germany during processing.
Berlin's consular section covers the north and east: Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Niedersachsen, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, and Schleswig-Holstein. Hesse, NRW, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, and Thuringia belong to the Frankfurt consulate-general; Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg to Munich.
