Not for stays of up to 60 days — tourism, family visits, and short business trips fall under Thailand's visa exemption for Netherlands passports. Every traveller must still register the Thailand Digital Arrival Card online within three days before arrival. Working, studying, retiring, or staying longer requires an e-Visa applied for online before departure.
Entirely online through the official Thai e-Visa portal, selecting the Netherlands as country of residence — applications are then processed under the embassy in The Hague. Choose the category that fits (Non-Immigrant B for work, ED for study, O for family or retirement, or the Destination Thailand Visa for remote workers), upload documents digitally, and pay the non-refundable fee online.
A free online arrival registration that every foreign traveller — visa-exempt or not — completes within three days before arriving in Thailand. It replaced the paper arrival card and is not a visa: it neither grants nor extends any right of stay.
