Overview
The Embassy of Albania in Rome is Albania's diplomatic mission to Italy, serving one of the largest Albanian communities abroad and supporting the deep, longstanding economic and human ties between the two countries.
Visa Services
Italian citizens do not need a visa to visit Albania for tourist or business stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period — Albania grants visa-free entry to Italians and to citizens of the EU, US, UK, Canada, Australia, and many other countries. A passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned departure date is required. Albania is not part of the Schengen area, so time spent there does not count against the Schengen 90/180-day limit. Longer stays, work, or study require a visa arranged in advance through this embassy.
Consular Services
The embassy provides passport and travel document services, civil registration, document attestation and legalization, and emergency consular assistance for Albanian nationals in Italy.
