Bahraini Embassy in Rome

Embassy of Bahrain in Rome, Italy

Overview

The Embassy of Bahrain in Rome is Bahrain's diplomatic mission to Italy, processing visa applications for Italian residents, providing consular services to Bahraini nationals, and supporting the trade and financial-sector relationship between the two countries.

Visa Services

Bahrain offers several entry options. GCC citizens (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar) enter visa-free. Italian citizens and many other nationalities can apply for an e-visa at evisa.gov.bh or obtain a visa on arrival at Bahrain International Airport. The e-visa requires a valid passport, photo, accommodation details, a return ticket, and fee payment. GCC residents with a valid residence permit get a visa on arrival regardless of nationality. Business travellers may need sponsorship from a Bahraini company. E-visa processing takes 3-5 working days.

Consular Services

The embassy provides passport and travel document services, civil registration, document attestation and legalization, and emergency consular assistance for Bahraini nationals in Italy.

Trade & Export Support

Bahrain and Italy maintain a developing trade relationship spanning financial services — Bahrain is one of the Gulf's established banking and financial hubs — alongside growing Italian business interest in the Bahraini market. The embassy's economic section supports bilateral trade promotion and business matchmaking between Bahraini and Italian companies.
