The Embassy of Bolivia in Rome is Bolivia's diplomatic mission to Italy, processing visa applications for Italian residents and providing consular services to Bolivian nationals in Italy.
Visa Services
Bolivia has significantly simplified its visa policy. As of December 2025, citizens of the EU (including Italy), the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, most South American countries, and many others can enter visa-free for tourist stays of up to 90 days per calendar year. Nationalities that still need a visa apply through this embassy. Visa on arrival is no longer available. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months.
Consular Services
The embassy provides passport and travel document services, civil registration, document attestation and legalization, and emergency consular assistance for Bolivian nationals in Italy.

The embassy's economic section supports bilateral trade promotion and business matchmaking between Bolivian and Italian companies.
