Patek Philippe Museum

Geneva

Five centuries of European watchmaking told through 2,500 objects, in a former workshop building in Plainpalais — the Geneva district that has anchored the city's watchmaking industry since the 18th century. The two top floors hold the Patek Philippe Collection from 1839 onwards (the firm's most ambitious complications, including the Henry Graves Supercomplication archive); the lower floors house the Antique Collection of pocket watches, automatons, miniature enamel portraits and Genevan goldsmithing from the 16th century forward.
