The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Rome is the Czech Republic's diplomatic mission to Italy, processing visa applications for Italian residents and providing consular services to Czech nationals in Italy.
Visa Services
As a Schengen member, the Czech Republic follows standard Schengen visa rules. Italian citizens and the whole EU/EEA/Switzerland can enter with an ID card or valid passport, with no length-of-stay limit. Citizens of the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, and many other countries can enter visa-free for tourist or business stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the Schengen area. Those needing a Schengen visa must apply at a Czech embassy or consulate with a completed form, a photograph, an itinerary, an accommodation booking, travel insurance with at least €30,000 coverage, and proof of financial means; processing takes around 15 calendar days.
Consular Services
The embassy provides passport and travel document services, civil registration, document attestation and legalization, and emergency consular assistance for Czech nationals in Italy.

The embassy's economic section supports bilateral trade promotion and business matchmaking between Czech and Italian companies.
