The Embassy of El Salvador in Rome is El Salvador's diplomatic mission to Italy, processing visa applications for Italian residents and providing consular services to Salvadoran nationals in Italy.
Visa Services
Citizens of 89 countries can visit El Salvador visa-free for up to 180 days, including the US, Canada, the UK, the EU, Australia, and many others. Requirements: a passport valid for at least 6 months. Travellers arriving by air or sea must purchase a tourist card on arrival for US$12 (cash). Land border arrivals do not require the card. Holders of a valid US, Canadian, or Schengen visa can also enter visa-free. El Salvador is part of the CA-4 agreement with Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua, allowing free movement between these four countries for 90 days on a single tourist card.
Consular Services
The embassy provides passport and travel document services, civil registration, document attestation and legalization, and emergency consular assistance for Salvadoran nationals in Italy.

The embassy's economic section supports bilateral trade promotion and business matchmaking between Salvadoran and Italian companies.
