Visa Services
Hungary is a Schengen member. EU/EEA/Swiss citizens enter freely with an ID card or passport. Citizens of Schengen-visa-exempt countries (the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, Japan, and others) can stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period without a visa. Other nationalities need a Schengen visa. The passport must be valid at least 3 months beyond the planned departure from the Schengen area.
Consular Services
The embassy provides passport and travel document services, civil registration, document attestation and legalization, and emergency consular assistance for Hungarian nationals in Italy.
