Overview
The Embassy of Kenya in Rome is Kenya's diplomatic mission to Italy, processing visa applications for Italian residents and providing consular services to Kenyan nationals in Italy.
Visa Services
Kenya requires an e-visa for most international visitors, applied for online at ecitizen.go.ke before travel — visa on arrival has been suspended. The single-entry tourist e-visa costs 50 USD and is valid for 90 days, with 2-7 working days processing. The East Africa Tourist Visa (100 USD) covers Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda for 90 days with multiple entries — good value for combined safari itineraries. East African Community citizens can enter visa-free for up to 6 months. A passport valid for at least 6 months with 2 blank pages is required. A yellow fever certificate is mandatory when arriving from endemic countries.
Consular Services
The embassy provides passport and travel document services, civil registration, document attestation and legalization, and emergency consular assistance for Kenyan nationals in Italy.
Trade & Export Support
The embassy's economic section supports bilateral trade promotion and business matchmaking between Kenyan and Italian companies.
Service Area
