Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Rome

Embassy of Kosovo in Rome, Italy

Overview

The Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Rome is Kosovo's diplomatic mission to Italy, processing visa applications for Italian residents and providing consular services to Kosovar nationals in Italy.

Visa Services

Kosovo applies a very liberal visa policy. Italian citizens, all EU/Schengen/Swiss citizens, and citizens of the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, and over a hundred other countries can enter visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period, for tourism or business. A useful feature: Kosovo also grants 15 visa-free days to holders of a valid multi-entry Schengen visa, a US visa (B1/B2), or a UK visa. The passport must be valid at least 3 months beyond the exit date. There are no direct flights from Italy — the most common connections run via Vienna, Istanbul, Frankfurt, or Zurich to Pristina International Airport (PRN).

Consular Services

The embassy provides passport and travel document services, civil registration, document attestation and legalization, and emergency consular assistance for Kosovar nationals in Italy.

Trade & Export Support

The embassy's economic section supports bilateral trade promotion and business matchmaking between Kosovar and Italian companies.

Service Area
