The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Rome is Kyrgyzstan's diplomatic mission to Italy, processing visa applications for Italian residents and providing consular services to Kyrgyz nationals in Italy.
Visa Services
Kyrgyzstan runs the most open visa regime in Central Asia. Citizens of around 60 countries — all EU member states including Italy, the UK, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the US, Japan, South Korea, and others — enter visa-free for up to 60 days for tourism, business, or family visits, with no advance application (entry stamp on arrival, passport valid at least 6 months, one blank page). Around 100 additional nationalities can apply for an e-visa online at evisa.e-gov.kg: 90 days single entry for around 51 USD plus a 3 USD processing fee, or up to 12 months multiple entry, usually processed in 1-3 working days.
Consular Services
The embassy provides passport and travel document services, civil registration, document attestation and legalization, and emergency consular assistance for Kyrgyz nationals in Italy.
Trade & Export Support
The embassy's economic section supports bilateral trade promotion and business matchmaking between Kyrgyz and Italian companies.
