The Embassy of Liberia in Rome is Liberia's diplomatic mission to Italy, processing visa applications for Italian residents and providing consular services to Liberian nationals in Italy.
Visa Services
Liberia requires a visa for most international travellers. The simplest route is the e-visa through the official portal evisa.lra.gov.lr, processed in three to seven working days and costing 50-100 USD depending on duration. A visa on arrival is also available at Monrovia's Roberts International Airport for around 100-150 USD cash. A passport valid at least 6 months, a photo, a hotel booking, a return ticket, and a mandatory yellow fever vaccination certificate (strictly checked on entry) are required. ECOWAS citizens enter visa-free for up to 90 days.
Consular Services
The embassy provides passport and travel document services, civil registration, document attestation and legalization, and emergency consular assistance for Liberian nationals in Italy.
