Overview
The Honorary Consulate of Malta in Graz serves the Maltese community and travellers in Styria, Austria's second-largest federal state. Located within the Christandl law firm on Elisabethstraße in central Graz, the consulate is headed by Honorary Consul Alois Sundl, who has held the post since January 2014. As a local relay for the Embassy of Malta in Vienna, the Graz consulate provides initial guidance and liaison for Maltese nationals in the region. Graz — a UNESCO World Heritage city renowned for its Renaissance and Baroque old town, its position as Austria's second city, and its vibrant student population at five universities — offers a natural base for Maltese academic and professional exchanges.
