Not for stays up to 60 days — the exemption covers tourism and short business visits. The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is mandatory for everyone, registered free online within three days before arrival. Longer stays run through the online e-Visa portal thaievisa.go.th — apply at least 15 days before travel but no more than 90 days ahead.
Not for consular business — the section receives by appointment only, Monday to Friday 09:30-13:00, which also covers passport and document collection. Phone enquiries have their own window, 14:30-17:00, on +39 06 8622 051 or the consular lines 0526/0527/0530.
Italy plus Albania, Libya, Cyprus (through an Honorary Consul-General in Nicosia), San Marino, and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. Within Italy, honorary consulates-general in Genoa, Milan, and Naples and honorary consulates in Turin and Venice provide limited local assistance.
