Omani Embassy in Vienna

The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Vienna is Oman's diplomatic mission in Austria, additionally accredited to Hungary, Croatia, Bulgaria, Czechia, Slovenia, Slovakia and Serbia. It processes visa applications for Austrian and regional residents travelling to Oman, supports Omani nationals across this wider district, and promotes trade and cultural ties between Oman and the countries it covers.

Most Austrian travellers can apply online for an Oman tourist e-visa through the Royal Oman Police portal at evisa.rop.gov.om rather than through the embassy directly — a single-entry 30-day e-visa costs 20 OMR, with multiple-entry and one-year options also available. Applicants who prefer to apply in person, or who need a different visa category (business, work, family), can contact the embassy for the current requirements: a passport valid at least six months from entry, a completed application form, a passport photograph, proof of accommodation and travel medical insurance covering the stay.

The embassy provides passport and travel-document services, civil-registration support and notarial services for Omani nationals resident in or travelling through Austria and the wider region it covers (Hungary, Croatia, Bulgaria, Czechia, Slovenia, Slovakia and Serbia), along with emergency consular assistance.

Oman and Austria maintain a growing trade relationship, with Austrian exports to Oman concentrated in machinery, engineering services and construction equipment supporting Oman's infrastructure and energy-sector development, and Omani exports including petrochemical products. The embassy supports trade delegations and business introductions across its consular district.
