The Embassy of Venezuela in Rome is Venezuela's diplomatic mission to Italy, processing visa applications for Italian residents and providing consular services to Venezuelan nationals in Italy.
Visa Services
Venezuela's visa policy depends on nationality and the point of entry (air versus land/sea). Italian, EU, San Marino, Vatican, UK, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, Japanese, South Korean, Singaporean, Mercosur, Andean Community, and CARICOM citizens receive a free 90-day tourist card (Tarjeta de Ingreso) at Maiquetía Simón Bolívar International Airport and other international airports, completed and stamped at immigration on arrival. Land entries from Colombia, Brazil, or Guyana and sea entries almost always require a tourist visa obtained in advance at a Venezuelan consulate. Dual Venezuelan-Italian nationals, and other Venezuelan dual nationals, are legally required to enter and exit Venezuela on their Venezuelan passport regardless of any other passport held. A yellow fever certificate is mandatory if arriving from, or transiting over 12 hours through, Brazil or other endemic countries.
Consular Services
The embassy provides passport and travel document services, civil registration, document attestation and legalization, and emergency consular assistance for Venezuelan nationals in Italy.

The embassy's economic section supports bilateral trade promotion and business matchmaking between Venezuelan and Italian companies.
