Visa Services
Jordan issues a visa on arrival for most nationalities at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman and other major entry points, costing 40 JOD (around 57 USD). The more cost-effective option for tourists is the Jordan Pass, purchased online at jordanpass.jo before departure: it includes the visa fee waiver (free for stays of at least three consecutive nights), entry to Petra (worth 50-55 JOD alone), and access to over 40 attractions. Italian citizens can obtain the visa on arrival or use the Jordan Pass. Special rules apply at border crossings with Israel, which should be checked in advance.
Consular Services
The embassy provides passport and travel document services, civil registration, document attestation and legalization, and emergency consular assistance for Jordanian nationals in Italy.
