Visa Services

As a Schengen member, Malta follows the common Schengen visa rules. EU/EEA/Swiss citizens can enter with an ID card or valid passport and stay freely. Citizens of the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and many other countries can enter visa-free for tourist or business stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the whole Schengen area. Those needing a Schengen visa must apply at a Maltese embassy or consulate.
