Visa Services
Qatar offers visa-free entry to citizens of over 90 countries. Italian, EU, British, US, and Australian citizens receive 90 days with no advance application — a free entry stamp at Hamad International Airport. For ineligible nationalities, Qatar has an e-visa system (28-100 USD, 3-5 working days processing) through the Interior Ministry's portal. GCC residents get a visa on arrival (QAR 100). Qatar Airways transit passengers with over 5 hours' layover can request a free transit visa or a 96-hour visa (11 USD) to visit Doha. A passport valid for 6 months and a return ticket are required.
Consular Services
The embassy provides passport and travel document services, civil registration, document attestation and legalization, and emergency consular assistance for Qatari nationals in Italy.
