Overview
The Embassy of Zimbabwe in Rome is Zimbabwe's diplomatic mission to Italy, processing visa applications for Italian residents and providing consular services to Zimbabwean nationals in Italy.
Visa Services
Zimbabwe applies a tourist-friendly visa system with three routes. The government's e-Visa portal at evisa.gov.zw lets citizens of nearly every nationality apply online before departure and present the electronic authorisation at the border. Visa on arrival is also available at all major international entry points — Robert Mugabe International Airport (Harare), Victoria Falls International Airport, Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport (Bulawayo), the Beitbridge crossing with South Africa, Victoria Falls/Livingstone with Zambia, Kazungula with Botswana, and others — at the same rate, paid in cash US dollars at the immigration desk. For most Western nationalities (Category B — Italian, San Marino, Vatican, EU, UK, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, Japanese), standard fees are 30 USD single entry, 45 USD double entry, and 75 USD multiple entry. The passport must be valid at least 6 months from entry with at least 3 blank pages. A separate KAZA UNIVISA, available at Robert Mugabe and Victoria Falls international airports and the Victoria Falls/Livingstone and Kazungula land crossings, costs 50 USD and lets the holder move freely between Zimbabwe and Zambia (plus day trips into Botswana) for 30 days.

The embassy provides passport and travel document services, civil registration, document attestation and legalization, and emergency consular assistance for Zimbabwean nationals in Italy.
